Country of origin Certificate.

Normally the business steps are below:

Inquiry–>Quotation–>Negotiation–>Idea order detail–>We issue Proforma Invoice–> Customer send deposit payment–>We arrange production–>Balance payment–>Shipment–>We issue documents for your Customs clearance

Normally MOQ is 500KG each size. Max loading weight is around 20-25 MT.

We have full sizes range and we can produce almost full sizes and length.

Hydraulic cylinder delivery time: 30/40/50 days according to drawing details.

Hydraulic cylinder tube delivery time: 10/20/30 days.

Hydraulic cylinder rods delivery time: 10/20/30 days.

We have stocks for some sizes, pls check with us for details.

Price is effected by main factors below:

1) Order quantity: the bigger quantity, the better price.

2) Raw steel price: if raw materials price is stable, our price is stable.

3) USD/RMB exchange rate.

4) Size: if it is regular size, price is regular. If not, price is based on size detail.

5) Length: to make your cost down, we suggest honed tubes length be unfixed 4 to 6 meter range. For chrome plated bars, we suggest length be fixed 3 or 6 meter.

The suggested length is mainly decided by raw materials length.

For example, if you need chrome plated bars length 4.5 meter, price is higher than the chromed bars with length 6 meter because the raw steel bar length is 6 meter. If we produce 4.5 meter, 1.5 meter length of the chrome plated rods will be wasted

Normal payment is by T/T. Payment by LC can be negotiated.

To measure and determine the right hydraulic cylinder for your needs, the first step is to visually identify the type of hydraulic cylinder you’re looking to replace. There are three main types of hydraulic cylinders:

Piston Rod Cylinder: Contains a piston inside and can be either single or double-acting (e.g., Clevis cylinder).

Plunger Cylinder: Typically a single-acting cylinder (e.g., Snow plow cylinder).

Telescopic Cylinder: Features multiple stages and can be either single or double-acting.

The key attributes of a hydraulic cylinder are as follows:

  • Bore diameter
  • Rod diameter
  • Retracted length
  • Extended length
  • Stroke
  • Mounting ends
  • Hose ports
  • Working pressure

Here’s a step-by-step guide on how to take measurements of any plunger or piston rod hydraulic cylinder. You’ll need a tape measure and a caliper for this procedure.

STEP 1: Measure the Bore Diameter
The bore diameter, or the inside diameter of the barrel, is the primary dimension of a hydraulic cylinder and is commonly referred to as the “BORE.” If the cylinder is disassembled, simply measure the inside diameter of the barrel (cylinder tubing) or the piston diameter across it.

(BORE)

(Option  2)
Outside barrel diameter

(Option  3)
1.5″1.75″1.88”2”
1.75″2.12”2.27”N/A
2”2.38″2.5″N/A
2.25”2.5″2.65”N/A
2.5″2.75”2.88″3”
2.75”3.12”N/AN/A
3.38″3.5”N/A
3.25″3.88″N/AN/A
3.5″3.88″4″N/A
4″4.5″4.62”4.75″
4.25″4.62″N/AN/A
4.5″5”5.5″N/A
5″5.5”5.62”5.75”
5.5″6.12”N/AN/A
6”6.64”6.75”7”

If the cylinder is still assembled or installed on machinery, the BORE can be determined by measuring the outside diameter of the cylinder barrel and subtracting the thickness of both tubing walls. For instance, if the outside barrel diameter is 1.88 inches and each wall is 0.19 inches thick, then the BORE is calculated as follows: 1.88” – 0.19” – 0.19” = 1.5” BORE. To simplify this process, you can compare your measurements with standard industry tubing sizes.

STEP 2: Determine the Rod Diameter
Next, determine the rod diameter. The rod is the shiny, chrome-plated steel bar that extends out of the cylinder and performs reciprocating motion. You can easily measure the rod diameter using a caliper. The rod is a crucial part of the hydraulic cylinder as it bears the main operational force, so it’s important to accurately measure and analyze the rod size to avoid bending.

STEP 3: Measure the Retracted Length
Measure the retracted length of the cylinder, which is the distance between the centers of the cylinder mounting pins (pin holes) when the hydraulic cylinder is fully retracted (closed). This measurement can be taken with a standard tape measure. Accurate retracted length is essential for proper installation and operation of the cylinder on your machinery.

STEP 4: Measure the Extended Length
Next, measure the extended length, which is the same as the retracted length, except that the hydraulic cylinder should be fully extended (open) when measured. Use a tape measure for this as well. If the cylinder is not functional and cannot be extended, you may need to remove it from the machinery and extend it manually.

STEP 5: Calculate the Stroke
With the retracted and extended lengths measured, you can calculate the stroke of the hydraulic cylinder. The stroke is the travel distance of the cylinder and is calculated as follows: Stroke = Extended Length – Retracted Length

STEP 6: Measure the Mounting Ends
Once you have noted all the primary dimensions, it’s time to measure the mounting ends. There are numerous mounting styles, but pivot pins are the most common. To ensure that the replacement cylinder fits your machinery, measure the pivot pin diameter with a caliper.

Common mounting styles include:

  • Cross Tube Cylinder: Features two tubes welded across both sides.
  • Clevis End Cylinder: Features a U-shaped coupler with through holes inside.
  • Tang Hydraulic Cylinder: Features solid welded steel ends of various shapes.
  • Swivel Eye Hydraulic Cylinder: Features spherical bearings installed on each end.
  • Trunnion Hydraulic Cylinder: Features two symmetrical rods welded to the barrel.

Make sure the outer dimensions of the cylinder fit within the frame allowances for a proper fit.

STEP 7: Evaluate the Hydraulic Hose Ports
Evaluate the hydraulic hose ports, which are where you connect the hydraulic lines with oil. Most commonly, the cylinder has female ports that require male hose crimps to connect. Each port has two designations: thread type and size. Common thread sizes include ¼”, ⅜”, ½”, and ¾”. Popular thread types in the U.S. include SAE (O-ring Boss), NPT (National Pipe Thread), JIC (Joint Industry Council), and Flat Face. If the thread on your cylinder differs from the one in the catalog, you can easily find adapters online.

STEP 8: Determine the Working Pressure
Finally, determine the working pressure of the hydraulic system. Most hydraulic applications operate at 2500 – 3000 PSI, which is sufficient for most tasks. However, heavy-duty applications such as excavators, hydraulic presses, and hydraulic jacks may require working pressures between 4500 – 7000 PSI.

Following these 8 steps will help you accurately measure and evaluate the hydraulic cylinder you currently have. Once you have all the dimensions, feel free to contact us by phone or email (pictures preferred), and one of our customer service representatives will gladly assist you in selecting the proper replacement hydraulic cylinder.
