ID Honing
Utilizing an abrasive stone that rotates while being moved in and out of the workpiece, the honing process achieves:
1. Smooth surface finishes inside bores.
2. Maintains precise tolerances on bore diameters.
ID: H7, H8, H9. ID roughness: 0.2-0.8μm.
Roller Burnish + Skiving involves cutting two thin chips at a high feed rate as the tool passes through the workpiece, producing a super-finish surface with precise bore tolerance.
Advantages of Our Honed Steel Tube and Roller Burnished Steel Tube:
1. High precision tolerances; our honed tube meets ID tolerance H7, H8, H9, etc., according to customer requirements, and its I.D dimension.
2. Seamless tube with high pressure resistance; we exclusively use seamless cold-drawn tubes to manufacture honed pipes, meaning our honed tubing can withstand higher pressures, making our honed pipes more reliable for hydraulic cylinder applications.
3. High Smooth inside surface; the roughness of our honed pipe is max Ra 0.4 microns ID finish (16Max Ra ID Finish).
4. Flexible order quantity: we accept small quantity orders, even for just one piece of hydraulic cylinder tubing.
5. Good weldability: Our honed steel tubing has excellent weldability, which is beneficial for manufacturing cylinders.
